Lithuania hosted it’s 13th Annual Baby Crawling Contest.
Twenty-five babies were vying for the title of ‘fastest crawler in the land.’
The cuties were released from one end of the carpet and their mothers waited on the other end. Mother tried to keep the babies focused by holding up toys, keys, rattles, and even an Ipad. It seems these babies like electronics better than plush toys. One baby grabbed a cellphone after crossing the finish line.
The event was held to mark International Child Protection Day.
The babies who participated ranged from the age of 6 to 12 months.
Eleven month-old Kasparas Abromavicius was the event’s winner when she crossed the finish line first into the arms of her mother, Gita.
Her mother, Gita Abromavicine, was interviewed after Kasparas was crowned the ‘fastest crawler.’
“We are feeling great. Thank you very much. This is our first victory and it is very jolly.”
