The Swearing Doll! Doll Says the B Word
A talking baby doll bought from Toys R Us says B***h.
Houston mother, Rose Pickens, calls it a “potty mouth,” but Toys R Us calls them “interactive dolls.”
Pickens’ daughter, Zoey, was given the talking doll as a gift last Christmas. While her daughter played with the seemingly innocent doll, they noticed that one of the recorded “baby babbles” said the word “bitch.”
At first they were unsure if that is what the doll actually said. They repeated it and realized it did.
They complained to Toys R Us about the talking doll. They were shocked that Toys R Us knew about it.
Toys R Us has given a statement regarding the complaint:
“We would not carry a doll that uttered profanity of any kind. We are aware that some customers believe they are hearing something else spoken by one of the dolls int he set when, in fact, the doll is uttering baby babble.”
They had been given a store credit for their inconvenience. However, Pickens wants the dolls removed from the shelves.
