“Sirius” theatrical trailer promises to show that aliens exist.
The documentary alleges that a tiny “alien” being, which was 6-inch in length, was found a few years ago in Chile’s Atacama Desert. At this time, it is unclear if it is a species found on earth or just a hoax.
The film also shows that there are other forms of alternative energy technology that extraterrestrials may be using to travel between their home world and ours.
The film features Steven Greer, a former emergency medical physician, who has actively pursued the U.S. government to admit that aliens do exist.
“Sirius” is Greer’s latest effort to expose the alleged cover-up about visitors from other planets.
In 1993, Greer started The Disclosure Project that had its sights set on getting the government to admit to UFO and ET knowledge along with information on advanced energy and propulsion methods.
“What people need to understand is the secrecy around UFOs and extraterrestrial intelligence really has nothing to do with ETs. It has to do with humans and the power that is resting in large corporations and financial interests that do not want you to know the truth,” Greer said in a video statement.
Greer claims that governments had knowledge of advanced science and technology for the past 100 years.
“This really is the greatest story never told,” Greer said. “Once people understand that classified projects have figured out how UFOs operate, they will realize we no longer need oil, coal and nuclear power. This is the truth that has driven the secrecy.”
“Sirius” will have its Hollywood premiere on April 22. Limited theatrical and video on demand releases will be launched simultaneously following its premiere.
PETA accused of animal cruelty.
Nathan J. Winograd, director of the No Kill Advocacy Centre contributed a story to the Huffington Post Blog where he accused PETA of animal cruelty.
The blog included images of dead puppies and kittens along with his claims that PETA had been systemically killing the animals in the Virginia headquarters.
Winograd claims that PETA, the most famous animal-adviocacy group in the world, does not try to find homes for the animals left at their shelter.
“PETA has no adoption hours, does no adoption promotion, has no adoption floor,” he said.
Winograd writes that 96 percent of the animals that came to the shelter in 2011 came out the back door dead.
Recent social media chatter show that supporters were shocked by the report. The most disturbing was PETA’s response to the charges. Representatives for the organization confirmed that there is a shelter at its Norfolk headquarters and that it routinely euthanizes animals that are too unhealthy or too dangerous to place in homes.
Kathy Guillermo, senior vice president of PETA, called it a “shelter of last resort.”
She also pointed out that the homeless animal population in the U.S. is just too many that expecting to have all of them placed in homes is unrealistic.
“It’s stunning that shelters that tout ‘no-kill’ policies direct people to the very facilities that they publicly condemn,” PETA Vice President Daphna Nachminovitch said. “Contrary to what ‘no-kill’ advocates would like everyone to believe, there is a huge crisis of homeless animals with nowhere to go, and until people adopt instead of buy, and spay or neuter instead of breed, euthanasia is unavoidable.”
News of PETA’s kill shelter had been circulating for years. Although PETA has never broadcast the existence of the facility, it has acknowledge it several times.
Do you believe PETA euthanizes healthy puppies and kittens?
An 8-year-old Tennessee girl was suspended from school because the school says she stinks.
Her mother claims that she takes a bath every day, but when the girl was asked by school administrators when she last took a bath, the girl couldn’t remember.
The girl’s mother showed school documents that said that the student’s smell was disruptive. And that the smell was so bad that it disrupted students and other teachers.
The girl has been suspended a total of 24 days.
Norwegian schools have rescheduled their mid-term exams so that students can be free to attend Justin Bieber concerts.
Five schools have adjusted the timetable so that students will not have to miss exams in order to see Justin Bieber. Fans were prepared to skip the mid-terms to attend the concerts thinking that it could be one of their only chances as Bieber’s tours rarely visit Norway.
Speaking to AFP, Roar Aasen, headmaster at Blindheim secondary school, said, “We find it regrettable, but we preferred to move forward the Norwegian exams to avoid problems. We considered that this was a battle that we could not win.”
He said that the teachers had made the decision “three or four months ago, when we found out many students had already bought their tickets.”
About half of the girls attending Blindheim were planning to skip in order to travel seven hours to Oslo, where Bieber is performing on 16 and 17 April.
Kristin Halvorsen, Norway’s education minister, said that it was up to the school’s discretion to make the decision. In an email to Associated Press, she wrote, “I am concerned that students should be concentrating when they take tests and midterms.
“The local schools have the responsibility to schedule the local midterms, and if they think there is any reason to change the dates, they have authority to do so. We’ve all been 14-years-old and know that interests can be intense.”

Topless FEMEN protestors stage demonstrations around mosques and Tunisian embassies across Europe in support of FEMEN activist Amina Tyler.
Accoring to AFP FEMEN member, Alexandra Shevchenko was quoted as saying, “We’re free, we’re naked, it’s our right, it’s our body, it’s our rules, and nobody can use religion, and some other holy things, to abuse women, to oppress them.”
“And we’ll fight against them. And our boobs will be stronger than their stones,” she said.
Amina Tyler, a Tunisian student, posted a topless photo of herself that sparked controversy. And it wasn’t just a topless photo of herself on Facebook, she wrote slogans on her body that read: “Fuck Your Morals” and “My Body Belongs To Me, And Is Not The Source Of Anyone’s Honour.”
Islamist hackers responded to Tyler’s defying act by hacking into FEMEN’s Tunisian Facebook Page where they replaced topless photos with quotes from the Quran. One Islamic preacher said that Tyler could be stoned for her defiance.
FEMEN, in support of Tyler, turned April 4 as the “International Topless Jihad Day” and organized protests near mosques and embassies across Europe.
On their Facebook page, the group wrote: “This day will mark the beginning of a new, genuine Arab Spring, after which true freedom, freedom without mullahs and caliphs, will come to Tunisia! Long live the topless jihad against infidels! Our tits are deadlier than your stones!”
Around two dozen activists showed up in Paris where they tried to reach the Tunisian embassy, but they were arrested by police.
Five activists also showed up near an Islamic cultural center in Brussels, Belgium. In Milan, women protested outside the Tunisian consulate. They carried signs that read “Free Amina” and “Bare Breasts Against Islam.”
As for Tyler, activists and journalists are concerned about her well-being. Although her lawyer said she was doing fine, some reports suggest that she is being held by her parents in seclusion.
Journalist Caroline Fourest wrote in a blog for HuffPost France that no one has heard from Tyler.
“No, it’s not fine. Amina is with her family but that’s not ‘good news,’ as some newspaper earlier wrote,” Fourest wrote.
“No one close to her, none of her friends or people in her support network have seen her or heard that she was free, free to move and speak.”

The first American Laughing Championship is taking place on April 26 in San Diego, California.
The competition is part of the annual conference of the Association for Applied and Therapeutic Humor. The contest requires the competitors to make themselves and others laugh as much as possible. The audience then determines who has the most contagious laugh.
Daunte Reed, 33, is one of the dozen people competing in the Laughing Championship. He hopes to win the contest and receive the title of top laugher.
“I’ve been told I have a contagious laugh,” Reed, told the Huff Post. “It doesn’t take much to make me laugh.”
According to the contest’s organizer Canadian filmmaker Albert Nerenberg, laughers would have to go through auditions until the organizers pick the top 10. Once the top 10 had been chosen, laughers will be eliminated by having them attempt different laughs.
The contestants will have to do a belly laugh, the Alabama knee-slapper, the maniacal laugh, and the diabolical laugh.
Nerenberg said that the most difficult among the laugh types was the diabolical laugh, which requires a “good diaphragm.” The goal is to make the audience laugh with your laugh whereas the other laugh types require someone else to get the audience laughing.
Kim Kardashian is busting out of her maternity clothes.
The pregnant 32-year-old reality star has been struggling on what to wear during her pregnancy. Kim was seen with friends getting frozen yoghurt wearing a revealing cream maxi dress.
The off-the-shoulder dress showed her ample cleavage as she stopped by the SweetHarts shop in Los Angeles with two friends. She sampled frozen yoghurt with fresh fruit.
Earlier that day, she was seen wearing a baggy black coat over black leggings and sneakers.
Kim had gotten criticism for the type of clothes she wears during her pregnancy. She recently too to her blog to respond to her criticizers.
“I saw some comments that were so critical!”
“It’s funny because Kourtney warned me that when I get pregnant people’s opinions will be on an all time high and everyone will chime in. I now see what she means.”
“For any concern that my clothes are too tight, I have so many pieces custom fit for my growing body!” she said.
“They make pregnancy Spanx which are tight. So this theory sounds ridiculous! I feel best when I am in heels and chic clothes! Happy mommy, happy baby!”
Although Kim seems fine with her body, Touch magazine recently reported that her weight gain was at 65 pounds. Kim insists that she has only gained 20 pounds.
The report claimed she has gained too much weight because she eats too much fatty foods like chicken, waffles, potatoes, and mac and cheese.
Her weight-gain is not the only thing Kim is worried about. Her divorce from Kris Humphries is still pending. There is a court date set some time in May.
