India’s first Playboy Club is set to launch in Goa.
Amid controversy, the Playboy Club will be opened with a few tweaks.
Playboy founder Hugh Hefner made the final decision on the design of the club and the uniforms.
This design is to satisfy the country’s obscenity laws. PB Lifestyle, an Indian company, will run the franchise in India. However, they do not want the traditional bunny outfits.
“We are clear about one thing: There will absolutely be no nudity. The bunnies will be suited to Indian sensibilities and moral values,” Sanjay Gupta, CEO of PB Lifestyle, told an India Times article.
The club was supposed to launch for December, but has since been delayed. However, six bunnies have arrived in India and are undergoing training as we speak.
