Naked Bike Ride 2013 takes over San Francisco.
Even with a new law prohibiting nudity in public, hundreds of San Francisco residents took part in the naked biking protest.
The World Naked Bike Ride is an international demonstration where people protest against fossil fuel dependence. Activists wore nothing but helmets and shoes for the bike ride.
Many had signs written on their bodies that read “Less gas, more ass” and “put the fun between your legs.”
Because of the nudity ban, organizers told participants to cover up their private parts.
Their website read:
“To be legal, you just need to barely cover your genitals and rectum. Going naked outside the main group will definitely get you cited. This will be a test to see how far we can push the limits.”
