The Castle Doctrine was passed in Indiana and supported by the National Rifle Association.
Police and law enforcement officials are not happy with this controversial gun law. This law protects a person to protect themselves from a public servant if the police officer enters their home under unlawful searches and seizures.
However, it is stated in this law that the person is not justified to shoot or use force against a police officer if they were involved in a crime.
This is stirring up a lot of controversy and some police officers fear that violence against them may increase.
