A Seattle rapper and comedian shot himself after tweeting a series of tragic Twitter messages.
Freddy E, 22, died on Saturday from a self-inflicted gunshot wound.
Just before his death, he tweeted a string of messages starting with, “Annnd, my day is ruined.”
One of the tweets said: ‘If there’s a God then He’s calling me back home. This barrel never felt so good next to my dome. It’s cold & I’d rather die than live alone,’ he tweeted. ‘It’s… all… bad… y’all. *puts finger around trigger*’
Freddy’s last tweet said: “I’m sorry.”
MTV reported that Freddy E’s fans accused Toronto rapper Honey Cocaine for leaving Freddy E with a broken heart which led him to take his life.
Cocaine posted on Twitter arguing that she and Freddy shared a bond, but she did not cause him to commit suicide.
“To say I caused what happened is ignorance,” she wrote. “You know nothing about our friendship or the story, hat eke if you feel. We loved each other. We were homies. We had a bond and a connection.”
She continued, “‘For people to attack me acting like I made him do it is a shame. I said some foolish things cause I thought he was joking, he does shit like that to me all the time. This is crazy..’
Freddy E. was known for his YouTube channel called ‘JerkTV.” He was gaining a large following from his channel.
