Rihanna & Chris Brown Kissing MTV VMA 2012 (VIDEO + PHOTOS)

Rihanna and Chris Brown shared a tender moment at the MTV VMA awards after the starlet received her Video of the Year award.

The closeness of the former lovebirds captured on camera make us think the two are rekindling their relationship.

Rihanna, 24, recently sparked rumours when she told Oprah Winfrey that Chris Brown was the love of her life. She admitted that she still loves him and that she could not control those feelings.

The pair can be seen kissing on the lips and hugging in the images taken at the awards show. This is sure to attract media frenzy that the two are giving their relationship another chance.

Rihanna ordered a restraining order against Chris Brown after he hitting Rihanna at a pre-Grammy party in 2009. He was charged with assault.

Her injuries from the assault caused her to be hospitalized and led to Chris’ receiving five years of probation.

Apparently, the restraining order was dropped in February 2011 and the pair have been working on their friendship since then.

Rihanna’s interview with Oprah that “I think he is the love of my life. He was my first love. Now we’re very close friends. And that’s not anything we’re going to try to change.

“It’s awkward because I still love him. My stomach drops and I have to maintain this poker face and not let it get to the outer part of me. I have to maintain it and suppress it. When you don’t understand those feelings you can make a lot of mistakes.”
