Dying Australian Teen Says Goodbye on YouTube

An Australian Teen recorded his emotional goodbye.

Shaun Wilson-Miller, 17, has a terminal heart condition. His has undergone two heart transplants, but the last one failed. He was told that he did not have long to live.

That’s when Shaun decided to record his farewell to family and friends. Soon the video he posted on youtube had been viewed over 1.3 million times.

He has become an inspiration to thousands of people. His message to everyone was to appreciate life to the fullest.

After the video became viral, Shaun has appeared on several national TV shows, met his favorite Australian Jobe Watson, began writing his memoirs and found love.

He has known the young woman he fell in love with for seven years. A fellow heart patient herself, their relationship blossomed two and a half weeks ago.

“The hardest thing for me is leaving her, knowing that I won’t get to marry her,” Shaun told the Herald Sun. “To have kids together. To grow old together. That is what makes me sad.”
