The video was removed by YouTube because it violated its nudity policy even when Upton wore a bikini. A barely-there-bikini, but still somewhat clothed.
“With the massive volume of videos on our site, sometimes we make the wrong call,” a rep from a Google told FOX411’s Pop Tarts column.
“When it’s brought to our attention that a video has been removed mistakenly, we act quickly to reinstate it.”
At first, an age restriction was put in place when the video was put back up. Later that restriction was also lifted from the video. Google-owned YouTube have rules in place, but many followers are upset that the rules are confusing. One day one thing is okay the next day its banned.
Reps from Upton and Sports Illustrated declined to comment on the incident.
Here’s another video that feature sexy, or as Google puts it “too sexy,” ladies doing the Cat Dance. So why were these girls not banned? We’re guessing a double standard by Google.
