Prisoners Try To Escape In Trash Bags
Two prisoners attempted to escape a Brazilian jail disguised as garbage.
Sidney da Cruz, 24, and Carlos Pereira, 19, tried to escape from Delegacia de Furtos jail in Curitiba, Brazil. Their escape plans were crushed by prison guards.
The two waited until lunchtime trash were to be collected. They climbed into the plastic bags and placed themselves beside the other bags.
Prison guard cleverson Mineiro noticed something odd about the two bags.
“I was walking past the sacks of rubbish and I noticed something moving. At first I thought there was a rat,” he said.
Although the two suspects were caught police are still figuring out how the suspects were able to tie the trash bags while they were inside of them.
