A 30 minute YouTube video, entitled “Sandy Hook Fully Exposed”, lays out several conspiracy theories surrounding the Newtown, Connecticut school shooting last month. The video, posted on January 7, has since earned 8.5 million views.
The video basically questions the validity of the mass shooting that left 20 children and six adults from Sandy Hook Elementary School dead. The video questions the reports about the involvement of two or more shooters and if there really was a shooting that took place.
The narrator asks:
“My question for you is this: Is the behaviour you’re witnessing right now, the facial expressions and the body language, consistent with that of two parents who just lost their daughter?”
He was referring to videos of parents “looking happy”. He claims that these people were probably “crisis actors” hired to be part of the hoax.
The video also pointed out that Newtown resident, Gene Rosen, who sheltered six students after they fled the school at the time of shooting, was part of the conspiracy.
“There must be some way to morally shame these people, because there were 20 dead children lying an eighth of a mile from my window all night long,” he said.
Rosen told Salon.com that he has been receiving phone calls and emails accusing him of lying.
One of the emails read: “How are all those little students doing? You know, the ones that showed up at your house after the ‘shooting.’ What is the going rate for getting involved in a government-sponsored hoax anyway?”
Police are now investigating the harrassment. “I am rageful about it, both for the children and for the mother of the child who came to my house looking for her son,” said Rosen.
The video creator mentions that the “hoax” was probably the Obama government who want to disarm the American public.
What do you think of this video? Do you think gun advocates are behind this?
