The Baltimore Ravens wins Super Bowl XLVII

The Baltimore Ravens beat the San Francisco 49ers 34-31 in Super Bowl XLVII in New Orleans.

The Ravens had a great start leading the game 28-6. Then with 13:28 left in the third quarter, the lights went out.

During the power outage, people were speculating if the Ravens’ momentum would slow down. And it did. After a 34-minute delay power was restored in the Superdome and the game resumed.

The 49ers came back, but the Ravens held on for a 34-31 victory.

“It’s probably one of the best Super Bowls y’all ever see,” said Ravens safety Ed Reed.

Joe Flacco, who tied Joe Montana’s record for touchdown passes in one post-season without an interception, was named Super Bowl MVP. He finished with 11 touchdowns and no interceptions in the post-season.
