The 24-year-old woman was arrested for crossing state line to have sex with a 15-year-old girl.
Carissa Hads claimed to be a boy named James Puryear Wilson when she met the teen girl online. Hads allegedly told the girl that “James” was a youth pastor. Using a fake MySpace and Facebook profile, Hads began an online relationship with the girl.
According to reports, Hads sent two mobile phones and a Kindle Fire tablet to the girl who lives in West Virginia.
After a 14-month online relationship, the girl’s mother arranged for them to meet at a motel in Pennsylvania. The teen girl told police she never saw Hads naked. She wore a back-brace to cover her chest and wore a fake penis. She also told police that during the sexual encounter, Hads “pulled his penis” from his pants and held on to the base of the “penis” while having sex.
Hads was arrested for coercion or enticement of a minor. She had been denied bail due to concerns that she was a flight risk.
